About TGA

Timor Leste Gateway Advisory was founded to do one thing well: connect opportunity in Timor-Leste with the partners, capital, and expertise to realise it. We combine on-the-ground presence with an international network built over years of cross-border work.
We are advisors, not intermediaries chasing a quick fee. Our value is in judgment, relationships, and trust — and in protecting both sides of every introduction.
TGA Founder
Mr. Ulrich Wagner
Mr. Ulrich Wagner is a seasoned executive with over a decade of extensive experience in establishing, operating, and strategically governing English education programs in Vietnam. He serves as the Vice-President of Alexander Education Group and the Deputy General Manager of Reliable English School (RES)—a prestigious educational network boasting 45 centers and catering to over 30,000 K4-K12 students annually. Driven by innovation and a keen eye for emerging trends, he is also the Founder of EXET, a Vietnam-based educational technology (EdTech) startup. Alongside his successful business endeavors, Mr. Wagner is a dedicated philanthropist who actively contributes resources and support to non-profit educational initiatives for underprivileged children, deeply committed to spreading the value of knowledge across communities.
Leveraging this rich background in market expansion, partner management, and institutional governance, Mr. Wagner founded Timor-Leste Gateway Advisory (TGA). His vision for TGA is to bridge regional expertise and local opportunities, establishing a profound, long-term relationship between the firm and local authorities to foster sustainable growth and strategic collaboration.

How we work

A disciplined approach behind every introduction. We don’t simply pass leads around — we do the work that makes a connection worth making.
01
Understand.
We start by learning what you’re really looking for — your objectives, constraints, and the partners or projects that would genuinely fit.
03
Structure
We help shape the proposition — the framing, the terms, the path forward — so that conversations start on solid ground.
02
Access.
We evaluate opportunities and counterparts with a critical eye, drawing on local knowledge and our network to separate signal from noise.
04
Connect.
We make the right introductions at the right level, and stay involved to help the relationship move toward a deal.
