An invitation letter/project proposal from Fr. Jolino Vieira, SDB (principal) and Fr. Jose de Sa, SDB (Rector), of Don Bosco Fuiloro school in Timor-Leste was sent to Mr.

Wagner.

As a young nation, Timor-Leste continues to navigate limited infrastructure, particularly when it comes to youth development and recreational facilities. For the children attending Don Bosco Fuiloro, access to dedicated sports spaces has been a long-standing challenge.

Recognizing that safe spaces are crucial for healthy childhood development, Mr. Ulrich Wagner, founder of TGA, stepped up to make a difference. Following a personal visit to Timor-Leste to assess the community's needs firsthand, Mr. Wagner generously sponsored $8,400 USD to fully fund the construction of the new basketball court.

The new Basketball Court Opening Ceremony in Don Bosco Fluiloro

The basketball court was officially launched as a part of a commitment to strengthening physical education in public schools and improving youth development through sport and infrastructure.

More than just a project milestone, this foundation marks the beginning of a meaningful, long-term relationship between Mr. Ulrich Wagner, the TGA, and the local authorities of Timor-Leste. By walking hand-in-hand with state and community leaders from day one, we are proud to establish a partnership built on mutual trust, shared values, and a unified vision for the nation’s youth—one that serves as a trusted anchor for many collaborative years to come.
